Dia de los Muertos 

Also known as "The day of the dead" , el Dia de los Muertos is a Mexican holiday in the beginning of November that celebrates the lives of family and friends who have died. It is similar to Memorial Day in the United States. On el Dia de los Muertos, Calaveras de Azucar are made. These are skulls made out of sugar and decorated. They are not only candy but pieces of art.

Cinco de Mayo 

Cinco de Mayo is a holiday celebrated in Mexico. The holiday is celebrated on May 5th and honors the Mexican army's victory over the French in 1862 Battle of Puebla.
